Invitro Fertilization (IVF)
IVF is a method of assisted reproduction in which a man’s sperm and a woman’s eggs are combined outside the body in a laboratory dish. One or more fertilized eggs (embryos) may be transferred into the woman’s uterus, where they may implant in the uterine lining and develop.

09
Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
In the ICSI process, a tiny needle, called a micropipette, is used to inject a single sperm into the center of the egg. With either traditional IVF or ICSI, once fertilization occurs, the fertilized egg (now called an embryo) grows in a laboratory for 1 to 5 days before it is transferred to the woman’s uterus (womb).
